“Giving Tuesday” is a global movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday.
Earlier this month, in conjunction with Giving Tuesday, the Frank J Flaman Foundation graciously agreed to match online donations to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation. Our generous supporters were able to fundraise just under $10,000 in 24 hours!
But wait! There’s more. The Kolskog Family of Edmonton was moved by this campaign’s potential and agreed to ALSO match your donation to ADF until the end of the year — another $20,000 !
Dr. Jean Buteau is closer to finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes than you realize. Following some amazing results to the ADF 2019 Innovation Grant – the next step is funding / recruiting a small cohort for human clinical trials IN ALBERTA which will start as soon as the funds are accumulated!
