Merlot Meets Monet

Merlot Meets Monet is a wine tasting and art auction - a signature event of the Alberta Diabetes Foundation (ADF). Guests will enjoy locally made wines from City & Country Urban Winery, snack on cheese and charcuterie from locally owned Peasant Cheese and immerse themselves in artwork donated by local artists and galleries. 

Members of the ADF Board of Directors and staff will outline exactly how funds raised at this event will be (and have been!) used to support the most cutting-edge diabetes research projects. We'll share some of the important milestones that have happened because of donor support. You'll hear from leading researchers about their projects and their passion for finding a CURE. We'll have ADF diabetes ambassadors on site to walk you through what day-to-day life is like with diabetes. 

The art donations will be featured in a silent auction with all proceeds going directly to support research. You'll be able to meet some of the artists and hear about their journey and inspirations. You CAN make a difference in the search for a cure just by taking home something beautiful for your home.
